Well, let me tell you something: the right time doesn’t exist. Nobody’s coming to crown you. You’ve had the light all along, it’s just time for you to own it.


So, carry your metaphorical crown, adjust it firmly, and let’s talk about how you can start shining today.


1. You Deserve to Take Up Space: Stop Apologizing

How many times have you apologized for things that didn’t need an apology? Saying “sorry” for speaking up, for dreaming too big, for wanting more? It’s got to stop, sis. You’re not “too much,” and your dreams aren’t “too big.”


Uhmmm! Have you ever seen a sunflower shrinking because it’s worried about outshining the daisies? No. It stands tall, reaching for the sun, unapologetic in its beauty. 


That’s what I want for you. Stop waiting for the world to tell you it’s okay to be seen. You belong here. Take up space. Speak your truth. Live boldly.



2. Perfection Is Overrated: Start Anyway

Let’s talk about the idea that everything has to be perfect before you take the first step. 


Spoiler alert: it doesn’t. Life isn’t a perfectly curated Instagram feed, and guess what? Nobody’s life is.


If you’re waiting for the stars to align, you’ll be waiting forever. Start messy. Start scared. Start small if you have to, but for heaven’s sake, start. Nobody gets it right the first time, and that’s okay. The point isn’t to be perfect, it’s to make progress.


After all, every masterpiece started as a messy sketch. Your journey is no different.


3. Celebrate Every Win: Big or Small

Now, this is important. How often do you brush off your accomplishments because they feel “too small” to matter? 


Sis, let me tell you, every win is worth celebrating.


Did you finally send that email you’ve been procrastinating on? Celebrate. 

Did you wake up and choose to show up for yourself today? That’s a win. 

Did you take even one step toward your dream? Pop that champagne because you’re on your way!


And no, it’s not “bragging,” it’s acknowledging your worth.


Every small step is part of a bigger journey, and each step adds up to the next one. 


4. Find People Who Lift You Up

Listen closely: Not everyone deserves to sit at your table. Yep!


So, surround yourself with people who inspire you, encourage you, and cheer for your success. You know the ones, the friends who light up when you talk about your goals, not the ones who roll their eyes or change the subject.


The company you keep matters. When you’re around people who believe in you, it’s easier to believe in yourself. 


And if someone tries to dim your light? Well, maybe it’s time to “lovingly” escort them out of your inner circle. (LOVINGLY - haha)


5. Trust Yourself: You Already Have What You Need

Sis, you’ve been second-guessing yourself for too long. Doubting your decisions. Overthinking your every move. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?


Even if no one has told you, you already know what to do. Deep down, you’ve always known.
